In the absence of having someone special to love, people tend to turn that unique love towards other things.
The love for your cat, dog or even goldfish can become so intense that it starts to worry people around you. You kiss your car good night, and the thought of driving it the next day gets you up in the morning. For many people it’s becoming more and more usual to make their shower the highlight of the day as it is the only body contact substitute there is, apart from the less pleasant sensation of hugging the walls of their flat. Some live for chocolate and go through every day dreaming of that one minute of high they get from it. Bizarre love, you might think, yet it is just as precious and worthy as any other love.
